The first row of images are from the Solfest Scottsdale, AZ - EnviroKidsFest 2004

1200 4th, 5th & 6th graders learned about renewable energy and how to live an environmentally safe life. Of the many activities, one was for all 1200 kids to paint (2) two 12'x20' murals designed by artist, John Manross. The murals are currently on a road-show across the state which is sponsored by ADEQ, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.

The second row of images are from ARTRAIN USA - Artistry in Space, NASA Space Program 2002

Carried along the country's rails, ARTRAIN USA rolled into Avondale, AZ bringing with it the works of the country's most celebrated artists in a tribute to space exploration. Titled "Artistry in Space", it carried 78 works by artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg and Robert McCall. Local muralist, John Manross worked with visitors and 500 5th graders to create a mural on the past, present and future of space exploration.
